In the morning…

Ease into the day with some movement. Boerum Hill has no shortage of dynamic workout classes to keep things interesting. Depending on your preference, we recommend VERAYOGA for a variety of yoga flows, the recently opened JETSET Pilates, The Floor, a local movement studio and community space for artists and instructors, and Good Time Pilates for a more classic, traditional studio feel.

Once you’ve worked up an appetite, head to Stumptown Coffee Roasters for your caffeine fix. It’s laptop friendly but still cozy enough for a catch up or a solo coffee date. We also love Cafe Volkan, whether you’re in the mood for a full breakfast spread or just a coffee and a really good pastry, you won’t leave disappointed.

Cafe Volkan

A leisurely afternoon

Spend the afternoon wandering the neighborhood’s local shops. Whether you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind vintage piece, something for your home, specialty foods, or a little bit of everything, you’ll find it here. Consider this your starting point:

  • Unearth Vintage is a family-owned shop offering thoughtfully curated, hand-selected vintage pieces that feel both timeless and personal.

Below the paywall: the rest of this guide, including our favorite shops to browse, afternoon pick-me-ups, standout dinner spots, and a Google Map of all the spots.
