✨ New Openings ✨
New Indian Restaurant just opened on Court Street! Tera Mera (formerly Taza MKT) is now open at 272 Court, serving up flavorful home-style Indian dishes and offering a beautiful backyard oasis perfect for lunch or dinner.
Greenpoint-based pizza shop Paulie Gee’s will open in Gowanus at 305 Nevins Street in the former Ample Hills Space. Thanks to The Strong Buzz for the heads up!
Beach bound? Ride a vintage train to Coney Island or Rockaway Beach this summer! Nostalgia Rides are on Saturday, July 19th and Sunday, August 10th.
Free Summer Meals for kids 18 and under start on June 27th. You can find these meals at specific places like select NYC Public Schools, community pool centers, parks, and libraries.. You don't need to sign up, show any papers, or have an ID to get these meals— just head to one of the meal locations and enjoy a delicious breakfast and lunch.

Montague Diner Summer Carnival @ Montague Diner (all day event): Hosting a Summer Carnival during Montague Bid Open Streets, Montague Diner will be serving up corn dogs, cotton candy, new merch drops, and the return of their sold-out Montague Diner hat (famously worn by Paul Mescal).
Thursday July 3rd:
Summer Sunset Salsa Series @ Atlantic Terminal, (6:00-9:00pm): Get ready to turn up the heat every Thursday night with the Summer Sunset Salsa Series! July 4th Fireworks @ Brooklyn Bridge Park Friday, July 4th (open to ticket holders starting at 6:30pm)* Free tickets to fireworks at Brooklyn Bridge Park are required and issued via lottery. If you’re planning to watch in person, be sure to check out information on public viewing access prior to going. You can find information here.
4th of July Degraw Street Block Party @ Poppy’s (12:00pm-4:00pm) Poppy’s and The Meat Hook are coming together with burgers, dogs, shrimp rolls, and icy watermelon slushies. Plus, Henry Street closes to cars at 11am so you can party freely!
