DUMBO finally has a farmers market! The new Brooklyn Bazaar Farmers Market has opened at Jay and Water Streets, bringing produce from upstate farms to the neighborhood on the weekends. It’s starting small, but there are already plans to grow the lineup and potentially keep things going through the winter.
Activate is bringing its interactive gaming experience to City Point, where you become the player — jumping, climbing and problem solving your way through high-tech game rooms. Learn more and be first to hear updates.
Carnegie Diner & Cafe has opened at DeKalb Market! Visit them at City Point and expect their signature all-day breakfast alongside burgers, sandwiches, salads and more.
A JAY-Z library card is now available at the Brooklyn Public Library, celebrating the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint with a new limited-edition card honoring the landmark album. It’s available now at BPL locations across the borough on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
A herd of buffalo is coming through Brooklyn this weekend. Forty life-size buffalo puppets, joined by more than 100 performers and 150 puppeteers, will make their way from Downtown Brooklyn through Brooklyn Heights to Brooklyn Bridge Park as part of Return of the Buffalo: Tatanka Owe Akupi, a large-scale public art performance created with Lakota and Lenape elders.

Vinyl Nights Presents Return to ’76 @ New York Transit Museum (Saturday, September 26th, 6:00pm-9:00pm): Step into the groove at this one-night-only fundraiser celebrating 50 years of the New York Transit Museum, from their debut in 1976 to today. The Museum transforms into a two-level dance party powered by the rich, analog sound of vinyl. Dress to impress in your boldest 1970s-inspired looks and come ready to dance.
