A six-year effort to restore historic cobblestone streets in DUMBO & Vinegar Hill has officially wrapped, led by NYC’s Department of Design and Construction in partnership with the Department of Transportation. The project preserves the neighborhood’s historic character while upgrading critical infrastructure. [The New York Times]
Feed Me reports that a 52,000-sq-ft “urban country club” - Kings Athletic Club - is opening next May in Brooklyn Heights, featuring a pool, two tennis courts, fitness studios, and a restaurant run by Billy Durney (chef/owner Red Hook Tavern). The Malin co-working space is also opening a few blocks away next spring.
