Here’s what’s happening this week:

✨ Local Happenings and New Openings ✨

  • Prince St. Pizza Now Open on Smith Street! Bringing its cult-favorite slices to Brooklyn with its first borough location TODAY, April 23 at 12pm. The first 25 guests in line will get a $25 credit and if you show up in Sergio Tacchini gear during opening week, you’ll also get a complimentary slice as part of their collaboration. Known for their iconic SoHo Squares and the spicy pepperoni “Spicy Spring,” the new shop doubles the oven capacity of the original Prince Street Pizza. Check out our sneak peek HERE and stop by for the official opening!

  • Books Are Magic is teaming up with Stumptown Coffee Roasters for a new quarterly subscription pairing a thoughtfully selected book with a bag of single-origin coffee. Sign up by April 30 to get in on their first release.

  • Longtime Sam’s Restaurant, Cobble Hill’s oldest restaurant, founded in 1930, is getting a new chapter as Australian industry vet Georgia Eve Fulton steps in to reimagine the space alongside owner Lou. Fulton, who previously spent 12 years as a server at Long Island Bar, brings deep neighborhood roots to the project. The collaboration has been years in the making and marks an exciting evolution for the Court Street favorite.

  • The long-abandoned “Spite House” in Brooklyn Heights is finally hitting the market for $15 million after sitting vacant for decades. The historic brownstone still holds original details but will need major restoration.
