Carroll Gardens & Cobble Hill History Walk

Have you ever wondered about the stories behind the beautiful brownstones, charming streets, and historic landmarks of Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill?
On Saturday, November 14, we’re hosting a special Carroll Gardens & Cobble Hill History Walk, led by local licensed NYC tour guide Don Mawsey! With just 15 spots available, it's an great way to explore the neighborhood and meet fellow locals.
Together, we’ll explore the fascinating history of these neighboring communities, from the iconic Carroll Street Bridge and Carroll Gardens’ signature front gardens to the ways the BQE shaped the neighborhoods we know today.
Along the way, we'll learn why Carroll Gardens has its signature front gardens, how the BQE reshaped the neighborhood, the subtle differences to look out for in Cobble Hill's brownstones, and the fascinating history behind Atlantic Avenue's Middle Eastern shops and restaurants.
After the walk, anyone who’d like to meet fellow history-loving neighbors and continue the conversation is welcome to join us for an optional drink nearby!
Saturday, November 14 from 10:30 AM–12:30 PM
$40 per person + Eventbrite fees
