In case you missed it, we shared back in December that the team behind Ingas Bar is expanding into Boerum Hill at the former Café Kitsuné corner. Now, the upcoming spot has been revealed as Lonnies, with a new Instagram account hinting at what’s to come.
Filming for Hulu’s suspense thriller “Count My Lies” is ongoing in the Brooklyn Heights area. Starring Lindsay Lohan, Kit Harington, and Shailene Woodley, the production has transformed local spots like Plymouth Church and Orange Street.
Bar Bruno at 520 Henry Street is back! revamped by the team behind Greenpoint Fish & Lobster Co. The updated concept brings a brand new menu with plenty of fresh seafood additions.
Oldest NYC Choclatier opens permanent spot in Sahadi’s. Li-Lac Chocolates opens a permanent outpost. The new counter features the brand’s signature confections, expect classic truffles and buttercrunch to seasonal specialties.
The Service Collective launches a new North Brooklyn Community Club. This will be a weekly after-school program for kids ages 10–14 focused on hands-on volunteer work and community impact. Learn more details and how to register here.
A major redevelopment plan is in the works for the former Jehovah’s Witness Watchtower complex in nearby Brooklyn Heights. The proposal includes over 600 apartments, with a portion designated as affordable housing - though it’s still in early stages and will require rezoning approvals.
